More about me:
One day I was on my way out at the gym around 2009. I peeked in a room of people having fun throwing around weights like crazy cavemen fighting with themselves and thought, I wanna do that! It turns out they were doing CrossFit. One of the coaches saw me and asked if I wanted to join and I did, not knowing what the heck I was getting myself into. I thought I was fit, but it turns out I wasn’t as good as I thought I was. There was copious amounts of suck and I fell in love with how it tested my mental and physical grit. My body has transformed to be a more resilient machine, but more importantly it reshaped my mind and heart. I gained confidence in unfamiliar conditions and how to love hard work.
The achievements I’ve been able to reach were due to the expansion of what I fell in love doing; so much that I wanted to teach others about all aspects of the exercise realm and coach them to make less mistakes than I did – to be better than me. Never underestimate the impact you can make in someone’s life because I’m thankful I walked in that day and decided to give something a chance.
